The Carnoustie & District Pipe Band was formed in early 2008 and its appearance in the area was greatly accelerated by huge local support as well as the generous sponsorship from David Murray Transport Ltd. Membership is taken from a wide variety of people from all over the Tayside area.

The band has recently released details regarding its future, being the creation of a starter band anticipated to be playing and registered as Novice Juvenile and named David Murray Memorial Pipe Band. The band is at an early stage of its inception at the moment, but it is anticipated that it will be up and running for the 2012 season.

For information about joining either of the bands, or to book the bands for your event please contact the Secretary (contact details above)."
