Pitlochry & Blair Atholl Pipe Band was formed in 2004. As well as teaching and competing we have strong links with Celtic Music and Festivals throughout Europe. The band are regulars at the Interceltique Festival in Lorient and in 2007 we were invited to the Festival in Aviles, in Northern Spain. We are twinned with Bagad Lorient from Brittany in France and some of our members regularly compete with them in France and a few of their members have competed with us in Scotland.

In 2007 we finished 3rd in the Champion of Champions table in Grade 3A and in 2008 our Novice Juvenile band competed for the first time.

In 2009 we played 3 sell out concerts with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

We have Celtic Nights at Blair Castle in the summer and also take part in many local events in Blair Atholl & Pitlochry.
